The Birth of Pratisarkar: On August 3, 1943, a crucial meeting of leading workers took place at Panumbre, chaired by Krantisingh Nana Patil. The objective was to determine the constitution and outline of the work of Pratisarkar. Keeping the Flame Alive: During a time when the freedom movement was cooling down across India, underground figures like Anna in Satara district kept the flame of resistance burning. Anna's unwavering dedication and leadership were instrumental in sustaining the momentum of the movement.
A Family's Sacrifice: Anna's parents, Lakshmibai and Ramchandra Nayakwadi, provided invaluable support in this work. Their commitment was unwavering, even in the face of adversity. As a result of their involvement, both of them had to endure periods of imprisonment, with Lakshmibai serving three months and Ramchandra six months.
